What instruments do you offer lessons for?

We offer lessons on virtually any instrument, including guitar, bass, piano, drums, ukulele, violin, viola, cello, saxophone, flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, oboe, banjo, mandolin, dulcimer, and many more. If you don’t see your instrument listed, don’t worry — just ask. We can teach it.

How long are lessons and how often do they meet?

Lessons are typically 30 minutes and scheduled on a weekly basis. Longer lesson times are available if you’d like more in-depth instruction. Your schedule will be set up with the help of our staff after your initial contact.

Who are your instructors?

Our teaching staff includes degreed musicians from programs like the University of Akron, Kent State University, Berklee College of Music, and the University of North Texas. They bring decades of combined performance and teaching experience across genres from classical and jazz to rock, funk, and folk. Many are active performers with symphony orchestras, touring bands, and recording projects.

How much do lessons cost?

Lessons are $35 per half hour.

How do I sign up for lessons?

You can fill out the inquiry form on our website, call us at 330-342-7317, or stop by the shop at 144 N. Main Street in Hudson (across from the Clock Tower). Our staff will help match you with the right teacher based on your instrument, skill level, and goals.

Do I need to own an instrument to start?

Nope. You can bring your own or rent one from us. We offer a true Rent-to-Own program where 100% of your base monthly rental goes toward purchasing the instrument. You can even switch instruments during your rental and keep all the equity you’ve built. Monthly rentals start at $25 and include a free stand and book. Routine maintenance is done on-site.

What ages and skill levels do you teach?

We teach all ages, from young beginners to adults, and all skill levels from first-timers to advanced players looking to sharpen their technique, theory, or improvisation.
