Western Reserve Music offers affordable instrument rentals in Hudson, Ohio for students and musicians of all ages. Whether your child is joining band or orchestra for the first time or you’re picking up a new instrument yourself, our rent-to-own program makes it easy to get started without a big upfront investment. We serve families throughout Hudson, Stow, Twinsburg, Macedonia, Cuyahoga Falls, and the surrounding area with educator-approved instruments, on-site maintenance, and the flexibility to switch instruments as your student grows.

Why Rent an Instrument from Us?

We offer a true “Rent To Own” program – 100% of the base monthly rental will go towards the purchase of the instrument as long as you are renting.
Our program allows you to change instruments at any point during the rental period and keep all the equity you have built up from the previously rented instrument. This transfer is free of charge.
Routine service and maintenance is done on site at 144 N. Main Street in downtown Hudson.
All instruments are educator approved.
All monthly instrument rental rates listed include $4.00 maintenance fee.
We strongly suggest purchasing the extra insurance of $4.00 per month which covers up to $275 worth of damage.

How does the rent-to-own program work?

100% of your base monthly rental payment goes toward the purchase of the instrument for as long as you’re renting. There’s no separate buyout, you’re building equity from day one.

Can I switch instruments during my rental?

Yes. If your student changes instruments (say, moving from clarinet to alto sax), you can transfer all the equity you’ve built to the new instrument at no charge.
